Iran Islamic Revolution is considered as one of the world’s three most important revolutions which broke the identified formulations - economic, political and security - of the super powers in the world and the region, and inspired the Muslims of the region to put an end to the socialistic thoughts of the existing movements in the Islamic world. It even challenged the materialistic and capitalistic thoughts, so that the world great powers were arrayed against Iran’s Islamic revolution. In Iraq, Saddam Hossein removed Hassan Albakr, and enjoying the protections of the United States and the Soviet Union and the oil wealth of some Arab countries, he invaded Iran to annihilate the Islamic revolution. Simultaneously, upon General Kan’an Uran’s coming to power in Turkey, General Zia’ ul Haq in Pakistan, the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. They could not understand that the dynamic thinking of Islam would not let them wipe away the spiritual influence of Islam through non cultural instruments. Due to this reason, against all impeding elements, the Islamic revolution of Iran bestowed great confidence on the Muslims of the world, relying on which and despite the wish of the rulers of the middle east, the Islamic movements of the region began to develop.
In the past, the western powers succeeded to use the discord between the Shiites and the Sunnis to control the Islamic countries and plunder their natural resources. However, Islamic revolution of Iran presented the idea of unity between the Shiites and the Sunnis fought against this imperialistic trick. The wave arising of the unity of the Shiites and the Sunnis in the Islamic World caused the great powers invent new parallel Islamic courses including secular Islam led by Turkey or a backward and reactionary movement like Taliban. The non success of the recent endeavors of Imperialism has led the great powers to employ some Arab countries to create new tribal and religious disputes in Islamic world especially in Iraq and Lebanon, passage through which necessitates a very careful attention of the governments, the clerics and the Muslim nations to avoid the extremist and emotional moves and to rely on the holy Koranic verse of Va’tasemu be hablellah va la tafarrequ, and the teachings of the holy prophet.
