Mahmud MirzaHosseini

Son of Hajj Hassan Qarajadaghi, Sattar Khan, was entitled as Sardar e melli (national commander) by the majliss, after so many struggles for the establishment of constitutionalism by Mohammad Ali Shah. In mid march 1872, he arrived at Tehran in the company of Bagher Khan and the Mujahedin of Tabriz and was received with warm welcome of Tehran people. Following the murder of Ayatollah Seyyed Abdollah Behbahani, Mirza Ali Mohammad Khan Tarbiat, and Seyyed Abdorrazzaq Khan, head of industry house, the Majliss ratified the law of disarmament, and the government decided to carry out the rule peacefully. Some meetings were held between the government and Majliss representatives and the mujahedin at the Atabak Park. However, nothing came out of these meetings and the fights began between the two sides which eventually ended with the wounding of Sattar Khan and the death of some others. The followings are 13 documents relating to Sattar Khan and his will to defend the constitutionalism, Majliss and freedom of speech, the possibility of unrests  taking place in the west and Azerbaijan in case of not considering their wishes, the payment of pension to his family living in financial difficulty and his taking refuge at the Ottoman Shahbandari.
