Zahra Abbassi
 
Son of Mohammad Jafar Khan, the youngest son of Badr Khan Shirazi, the head of Shiraz’s military wardrobe, Mirza Abdolvahab Khan Shirazi entitled as Nayebolvozareh and Nassiroddowleh was born inShiraz, 1827. He learnt Arabic, history, geography, and literature in that city and came to Tehran with his uncle, Hajj Mohammad Hossein Khan Jobbehdarbashi to Tehran, 1850.
 
In 1857 he became the second deputy of ministry of foreign affairs. The next year he became deputy minister of foreign affairs. After three years, he was appointed as the head of Azerbaijan foreign affairs.
 
He was entitled Nassiroddowleh by the Shah in 1871, and to years later he was the head of customs. He became the minister of finance and a member of High Counsel (Darolshoraye Kobra), 1874.
 
He was entitled Assefoddowleh, 11th July, 1884, and replaced Mohmmad Taghi Khan Roknoddowleh as the governor of Khorassan and custodianship of the holy shrine of Imam Reza. His period of mission lasted for a year and nine months and ended in unrest and disorder. He was recalled by the Shah which led to his depression and inactivity. He died in 31st Jan., 1887 in the age of sixty two. The following documents relate from 1863 to 1887, and are expressive of appointing him as the minister of finance, entitling him as Asseffoddowleh, appointing him as the governor of Khorassan, grant of bejeweled sword to him and etc.
