The 25th anniversary of the royal kingdom of Iran began in Oct. 12th 1971, in which the kings and the presidents of various countries, and the local figures and authorities had participated. It was a luxurious ceremony through which no expense was spared. The schedule and the ceremonies were planned by the foreign countries, even the waiters and waitresses had come from abroad; a fact that was discordant with the true philosophy of festivities as demonstration of the national values and the oldIran’s civilization.
The date of the following documents is from 1960 to 1961. Accordingly, the ministry of finance wished to submit an amendment bill to design half of the income of the alcoholic beverages to be spent for the expenses of the celebrations. A year later, the government decided to defer the celebrations until 1963 when Hussein Ala asks Assadollah Alam to contemplate making decisions to afford the expenses of the ceremonies.
The present documents reveal the expenses of the locations of the celebrations, entertaining of the guests including the presidents, kings and specialists on Iran, the grant of memorial emblem to the individuals and forty participating officers.
